The Great Escape Festival in Brighton

Taking place in Brighton over 3 days in May, The Great Escape kickstarts the festival season, introducing 16,000 music lovers to up and coming artists for the year. The Great Escape was founded in 2006 and since then has been firmly established as the leading event for showcasing new music. Every year, over 450 bands play in 30 venues over just 3 days. In addition to pre-publicised performances, impromptu street gigs spring up all over town, which adds to the festivities.
